About FITT Days
PCOM's Financial Aid Office will hold several one day events that will promote certain personal finance initiatives to encourage students to take action to improve their personal finance
Building Good Credit Day
Tuesday, December 10
11:00AM - 2:00PM
Evans Hall Lobby
This day will encourage students to monitor their credit rating by obtaining a free credit report via www.annualcreditreport.com. Stop by our table in Evans lobby for free information, candy, and aluminum water bottles.
|At the beginning of March 2013 we launched the F.I.T.T. program with a table setup on campus featuring free aluminum water bottles and handouts. Look for us at our next event!|
Loan Servicer Day
Currently, very few students are taking the time to establish an account with the loan servicer of their federal loans. This day will encourage students to take the time to create this online relationship so that they are able to view and become familiar with the terms of loans and make payments when possible.
Estimated date: August
The $100 Challenge Day
The time is now to reduce student indebtedness. We will encourage students to take the $100 challenge as the first step in reducing their indebtedness.
Loan Repayment & Forgiveness Day
Encourage students to learn more about loan repayment and forgiveness programs while they are in school.
