Aquifer Curriculum Integration
Blending virtual patients to enhance clinical experiences is more effective than traditional methods alone, but simply making the cases available to students is not enough. Thoughtful integration is critical. With more time for personalized teaching and active learning, faculty can further assist students to link factual knowledge to patient cases, deepen their understanding, strengthen clinical reasoning skills, and generalize from one patient to another.
