Relevant Anatomy Databases

  • Access Medicine: Human Anatomy Modules
    • Located within the "Auscultation Classroom," scroll down to locate the link. These interactive modules allow for visualization of the human body in an interactive, 3D format where both male and female anatomy modules can be viewed.
  • Acland's Video Atlas of Human Anatomy
    • Contains nearly 330 videos of real human anatomic specimens in their natural colors.
  • Anatomy and Physiology Revealed
    • Includes lectures, videos and interactive models that allows digital exploration and dissection.
  • Anatomy.TV
    • Includes Anatomy and Physiology Online. Select from 7 sections including interactive 3D Atlas and Real-Time images, functional anatomy, clinical specialties and more.
  • Case Files Anatomy
    • Practical experience in diagnosing and treating injuries.  Includes a hypothetical case, the reasoning behind the diagnosis and follow-up questions.

    • Review of radiographic, cross-sectional and gross anatomy.
  • Physical Diagnosis Videos (Medical Media Systems)
    • Offers streaming media-based training videos for a wide range of common examination techniques used for bedside diagnosis. A particular point of interest is the offering of both normal examination techniques and abnormal findings procedures.

    • Animated embryological processes from the School of Medicine at Stanford University. It offers high quality, original vector art animations depicting some of the most difficult embryological developments using Flash.
