Research & Publishing - LibKey Nomad

LibKey Nomad (PDF manual) is a browser add-on for Chrome, Firefox, and Safari that provides access to articles available through Library subscriptions. Because it is a browser tool, you will know if an article is available before you have to log in. Unlike other add-ons, it does not collect your data as you search and click on titles (Third Iron's Privacy Policy).

When you click on the link to access the full text article and are off campus, you will be prompted to login with your PCOM credentials. If PCOM does not have access to it, you will be redirected to alternative means to retrieve it.

Follow the instructions below to add LibKey Nomad to your browser.

• Go to the LibKey Nomad download page.

• Enter Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine as your library.
• You should see the LibKey icon () in your browser header.
• When you search for articles in PubMed (example below), Google Scholar, a publisher's site, even Wikipedia, you'll see a link to the full text article, provided by PCOM's subscriptions.
